Lie Amongst The Wreck

On her head you would find a crown of bones

And in her eyes you would see your fate

The wind carries the echoes of her voice

From the flaming Hell to Heaven’s gate

You would lose your ground beneath your feet

As her smile would turn you pale and white

She would lead you to the darkest cave

Where there’s not a ray of light

She would clean up your sins for you

With the very hands that have played

A cruel trick on kings and clowns

Who at her feet are equal made

The world will continue to be

But you will never be the same

When she opens up that book of hers

And calls out your name

Then she’ll come to get you

You’ll find her hand clutch your neck

And your soul will find a new home

For your body will lie amongst the wreck

  1. Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the web the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people think about worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks

  3. Sounds like the Christmas Carol by Dickens. Marley in chains. A ghost forever dammed for his treachery to his employees. We sow. We reap. And always the Accountant with have justice.

  4. Thank you so much for liking my poem Ornery Cuss on my blog WordMusic. It was one of those I just HAD to write because nobody else seemed to be dealing with a subject very dear to my heart…and that nearly pissed me off! hahaha
